Process Operator
Gradientech and our Products
Gradientech manufactures and sells a CE-marked diagnostic system (IVD) for antibiotic susceptibility testing (AST) intended for clinical microbiology laboratories. Our AST system can, within a few hours, determine which antibiotic a sepsis patient should be treated with—several days faster than the diagnostic solutions that hospital laboratories largely rely on today.
The system is marketed under the QuickMIC® brand and consists of an instrument unit with dedicated analysis software, as well as associated single-use products—antibiotic cassettes and consumables for sample preparation. Gradientech operates within a regulated quality management system and is ISO 13485 certified for IVD product development, manufacturing, and sales.

The Role
The position is a permanent role with a start date to be agreed during spring 2026. Gradientech applies a probationary period for its positions.
Responsibilities & duties
Gradientech is seeking an operator for our production unit, responsible for manufacturing antibiotic cassettes and related accessories. The company is in an expansion phase where regular production activities are combined with scale-up projects and the development of manufacturing processes.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that Gradientech’s manufacturing processes are carried out accurately and in accordance with established procedures, working closely with colleagues in a small team. The role combines hands-on practical work with administrative tasks such as continuous improvement initiatives and review of manufacturing documentation.
Your qualities, skills & experience
We are looking for someone who is meticulous and works well in a team. You likely have an upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus, as the role requires hands-on handling of diagnostic cassettes and manufacturing equipment.
You have experience working in a production environment within a medical device or pharmaceutical company. The process operator role at Gradientech involves a high level of individual responsibility, while also offering the opportunity to influence and improve team workflows and, together with colleagues, plan and structure your workday.
You take responsibility for your work and have strong planning skills. Good verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English are important.
You enjoy working in a smaller company, which offers short decision-making paths and a fast pace of development, but also places high demands on your ability to take initiative and find solutions independently.
