Gradientech is pleased to announce that the QuickMIC® instrument, which is part of the antibiotic susceptibility testing system in development by Gradientech, is now approved for research use after extensive testing by Intertek. The QuickMIC instrument fulfils the IEC, UL and FCC standards for electrical safety, basic safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), which certifies the instrument to be used by external customers within the European countries and the US.
The pilot study, led by Gradientech, combined rapid ID+AST technologies – T2Bacteria (ID) and QuickMIC (AST) and compared the time-to-result to a workflow using standard laboratory methods.
Uppsala, May 25, 2020. Gradientech is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to the company’s board including a new board chair, effective from May 14, 2020. The new board members have been recruited to strengthen the company with internationally acquired key competences to prepare for the market launch of Gradientech’s in vitro diagnostic system for ultrarapid antibiotic susceptibility testing.

Uppsala, April 30, 2020. Gradientech has closed a rights issue among its existing shareholders for a total of USD 2.1 million (SEK 21 million). The rights issue was oversubscribed with a subscription rate corresponding to 135 percent.
