EPO Grants Gradientech’s Patent on AST

Gradientech today received the certificate from EPO, the European Patent Office, certifying that a European patent with patent no. 3019625 has been granted in respect of the invention described in the patent specification.

The patent covers the proprietary minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) determination of a bacteria sample within a microfluidic controlled environment. This invention is an important part of the technology platform of the Company’s diagnostic system QuickMIC™ for ultra-rapid AST in development.
